Here in Connecticut there are very tall cattail plants at the edges of waterways. They’re tall and strong and soft and have a lovely rhythm of light as you peer through at the water. When I needed a screen for a window in my studio, I tried to mimic the cattails organic yet playfully graphic quality. And yes, I know that they sell curtains.
