In Person Visits

When I visit an elementary school, my goal is to make the kids feel special. They come in excited to meet a famous author, and leave believing in themselves, confident and inspired to make their own stories and drawings.

The presentations are dynamic and engaging for the kids and the adults in the room. Each tried and true session is tailored to the grade level of the audience. Everything happens under a document camera, not through PowerPoint. This keeps things lively and spontaneous. Everyone in the room has a good time.

My in-person availability is limited due to my writing schedule. If you would like a visit, send a note to visits@bobshea.com for more information.

Your children will leave feeling entertained, empowered, and, most of all, inspired. Truly a delight for the children and adults alike!

Virtual Visits

Virtual visits are a great way for kids to get a live author experience without me hanging around your school, snooping through drawers, and asking a lot of nosey questions.

These have been remarkably popular and successful. Like my in-person visits, most of the presentation happens live under a document camera, reflecting the real-life experience of my day in the studio.
